The musician Helmy Bakr narrated the incident of his expulsion from one of the rehearsals of the musician Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab when he was a student, saying: I was present during the rehearsal of the song (I think about those who forgot me) and I was sitting at the time of the break and as a result of extreme fatigue I fell on one of the instruments and when the musician Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab heard a sound Falling, he asked me about the reason for my presence, and I told him I love you, so he expelled me from the rehearsal.
Bakr said, during his interview with the media, Iman Abu Talib, on the “Bil Khat Al-Areed” program on Al-Hayat satellite channel, on Friday evening, that the musician Muhammad Abdel-Wahhab spoke about me on the radio after the incident, and since then the connection between us was strengthened and he nominated me to work in the play My Beautiful Lady with the artist Fouad Al-Mohandes.
Musician Helmy Bakr indicated that he was always in contact by phone with musician Mohamed Abdel-Wahhab, continuing: I used to talk to him twice a day, in the morning and evening, and he would sometimes reply to me with a song.
