In a banner that occupied social networking sites, the global search engine Google renewed the birthday of the Egyptian artist, Karima Mokhtar, who passed away from our world in 2017.
The international company celebrated the 89th birthday of Karima Mokhtar, considering the late woman a model for the Egyptian mother.

It is known that Atiyat Muhammad al-Badri, the real name of the artist, Karima Mukhtar, was born in the city of Assiut on January 16, 1934.
The late woman also obtained a bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, after which she worked with Baba Sharo in children’s programs on the radio.

While she stayed away from cinema for years due to her family’s disapproval, the opportunity came to her later after her marriage to director and actor Nour El-Demerdash.
Among the most famous characters presented by Karima Mokhtar is the character of Mama Nona in the series “Yatribi fi Ezzo”, and she also presented the character of the mother Zainab in the movie “The Grandson”, and other distinguished works and multiple personalities, which critics considered a model for the Egyptian mother.
The late married the director, Nour El-Demerdash, in 1958, who helped her break into the world of acting through the movie “The Price of Freedom” in 1964.

It is noteworthy that Mokhtar was born on January 16, 1934 in the Egyptian governorate of Assiut, and she gained great fame by embodying the role of the mother theatrically when she presented the character “Zainab Hanim Jadallah” in the play “The Children Grow Up.”
