Emirates News Agency – Announcing the final list of the UAE national team participating in the “Gulf 25”

DUBAI, 26th December, 2020 (WAM) — The UAE Football Association announced the final list of the UAE national team to participate in the Arabian Gulf Cup “Gulf 25”, which will be hosted by the Iraqi city of Basra from January 6 to 19.
The national team list included 26 players who were selected from a total of 35 players who had previously been announced in the expanded list, as their selection came after the end of the matches of the twelfth week of the Professional League.
The selected players are: Khaled Issa, Ali Khasif, Khaled Al-Sanani, Shaheen Abdul-Rahman, Khalifa Al-Hammadi, Walid Abbas, Khaled Al-Hashemi, Abdul-Salam Muhammad, Hassan Al-Mahrami, Khaled Al-Dhanhani, Abdulaziz Haikal, Ahmed Jamil, Majed Rashid, Abdullah Ramadan, and Majed Hassan, Falah Waleed, Khaled Al Balushi, Hussein Mahdi, Muhammad Abdul Basit, Ali Saleh, Tahnoun Al Zaabi, Fabio de Lima, Hareb Abdullah, Yehia Al Ghassani, Caio Canedo, and Sebastian Tigali.
The UAE national team will start its preparations for the “Gulf 25” competitions by going to a camp in Dubai, starting tomorrow, “Monday”, for a week, after which it will face Lebanon in a friendly match on December 30 at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al-Nasr Club, before traveling to Basra on January 2.
