The Gujarat Election Commission yesterday completed its elections for six municipal corporations in the state of Gujarat. Elections went on peacefully in Surat, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Rajkot, Bhavnagar and Jamnagar. In addition, the votes are to be counted on 23 February 2021. Subsequently, the Election Commission also conducts elections for municipalities and panchayats on 28 February 2021 and the counting of votes will take place on 2 March 2021.
