What are the requirements?
For residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, these requirements included that the profession of the person wishing to enter Qatar without the Haya card should be one of the professions approved by the “Haya”Qatar Ministry of Interior”.
Obtaining a “Haya” card is mandatory to enter Qatar if the resident’s profession is “not approved” by the Qatari authorities, according to “present”.
Those wishing to enter Qatar with their own vehicle must “obtain a confirmed entry permit for the vehicle.” In the event of arriving at the Salwa port without a permit or an unconfirmed permit, the vehicle will be “returned”.
With regard to those wishing to enter Qatar by bus, there must be a “confirmed reservation” for the bus, and in the event that this is not available, the traveler will be “returned”.
On December 6, Qatar announced the abolition of the requirement to obtain a “Haya” card for entry to citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, “to enjoy the atmosphere associated with the World Cup.”
The Qatari Ministry of Interior said in a statement, which it posted on its Twitter account: that citizens and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries will be allowed to enter Qatar without the need to obtain a “Haya” card, for non-holders of tickets to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 matches, as of Tuesday. .

The ministry stated that citizens and residents of the GCC countries will be able to come to Qatar through the country’s various ports, whether by air or land.
She said, “Transportation by buses will be available to all travelers through the land port, as is the case in normal conditions, and parking spaces will be allocated for visitors without fees.”
On December 8, a report by the FIFA World Cup Organizing Committee revealed that “Qatar received more than 765,000 visitors during the first two weeks of the tournament, which is less than the host country’s expectations of an influx of 1.2 million visitors during the month-long tournament,” according to Reuters.
