Julia Rose is a 25-year-old glamour model, reality TV star, and creator of Shagmag, an internet publication that features photos of popular Instagram models. Julia Rose attended the game in Washington, D.C., with friends and fellow models Lauren Summer and Kayla Lauren. The trio, with chairs behind home plate, flashed the camera at the bottom of the 7th inning and were captured by viewers on live television (WARNING: Graphic Content). All three were eliminated by park staff following the incident.Their motivation for the stunt seems to be promoting Shagmag, since the trio wore T-shirts emblazoned with the magazine’s logo. In a video Kayla Lauren posted on Twitter right once they flashed the camera, the women say”donate to breast cancer” and”save the boobies”.Later that night, Julia Rose tweeted a photo of a letter from Vice President of Security and Baseball Operations in Major League Baseball, David Thomas, banning her from future MLB events. Lauren Summer reportedly received the identical letter and has also been prohibited.”…you violated the fan code of conduct by exposing yourself through the seventh inning in order to promote a company,” the letter reads. “You are hereby prohibited from all Major League Baseball stadiums and facilities, respectively.”USA Today confirmed with MLB spokesman Michael Teevan the league has”distributed a letter to the people in question, and the correspondence put forth an indefinite ban for each.”
Both Rose and Lauren Summer said on Twitter that the stunt was not merely to encourage Shagmag but also to raise awareness for breast cancer. “Our proceeds from @SHAGMAG_ will be going to women with breast cancer and paying off their medical bills. Meeting together in person and doing anything we can to help with the platform we have. ☺️” Lauren Summer tweeted.
Rose is the founder and CEO of Shagmag, which, according to its website, is an”all you can eat buffet of everything you need to know smushed into an electronic magazine” and features”exclusive and uncensored content of Julia Rose and other up and coming Instagram models.”Shagmag adds,”Learn about the birds and the bees, up and coming masterminds, latest sports stories, and what the actual f*ck is going on in the world all in 1 place. (And yes there’ll be boobs… plenty of boobs).”A subscription costs $15 a month on Shagmag’s Patreon page and provides users access to paywalled content including”uncensored” photos. Shagmag says it has 8,370 subscribers, which would equate to $125,550 in monthly subscription fees.
