According to many, the case of love jihad has been steadily increasing in the country and it is not so long ago that a jewelery advertisement was taken down because it was “glorifying” the love jihad. People are trending by whom this character is played Akshay Kumar It is of a Muslim man named Asif who is in love with a Hindu girl named Priya (played by Kiara Advani).
Many users also commented on the fact that the film hurts Hindu sentiments by using the name of God and the matter has been going on for a long time.
Looking at the protests, what the next step will be by the manufacturers is the talk of the city. With the release date coming so close, the negativity surrounding the film will hinder its chances of succeeding.
